The Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) established the Leaders in Law designation in 2010 to recognize outstanding women lawyers across the state who have made a significant impact in their communi-ties through their legal service and community activities. This year 26 women were selected for the honor.

Three attorneys who practice law in Volusia County were honored at the FAWL Annual Meeting held in Or-lando on June 22, 2012. They are Elizabeth King, Sylvia Starbuck and Katherine Hurst Miller.
